Diastema closure in upper anterior teeth
This case has a diastema between the centrals as well as the central and the laterals along with a slight rotation and change in the axial angulation of the tooth. When these cases are treated with resin composites, care should be taken to correct the rotation and the axial angulation as well.
The post operative image shows the diastema closed with composite resin and the axial angle of the lateral is corrected to some extent and a pleasing esthetics is obtained. Care is taken to create an adequate gingival embrassure.
